  LABUTE
  
  Margaret Mae (Onstead) LaBute, 70, of Berlin, died Nov. 17, 2003 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 12, 1933 in Stonycreek Township, she is
  the daughter of Merle V. and Gladys C. (Walker) Onstead.  She was
  preceded in death by her parents.  Surviving is her husband of 47
  years, C. Edward LaBute; children, Deborah Ann, married to Gary Haer,
  Meyersdale, Carolyn M. LaBute, Berlin, Sandra L. Lanza, Pittsburgh,
  James E., married to the former Patricia Gary, Somerset;
  grandchildren: Michael D., William G., and Matthew W. Haer, Nicole E.
  LaBute and Caitlin LaBute; sister of Helen Conn, Berlin, Alfred,
  Central City, Mervin, Boswell and Linda Snyder, Berlin.  Also
  numerous nieces and nephews.  She was a retired packer for Snyder of
  Berlin, a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin and a
  graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School class of 1951 and
  enjoyed sewing and cooking and gardening.  Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin, where a service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev.
  Glenn P. Foster officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery. 
  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Holy Trinity
  Lutheran Church, 507 Main St., Berlin, Pa. 15530.
