LACLAIR Porter Brownfield LaClair, 77, died Thursday, August 1, at the Uniontown Hospital. He was born in Hopwood Feb 11, 1908, a son of the late John William LaClair and Perie (Dennie) LaClair. He was a retired employee of the South Union Township roads department. His wife, Mrs. Oma (Victor) LaClair, died Nov. 28, 1980. He is survived by two sons, Porter LaClair, Frostburg, Md.; James LaClair, Uniontown; four daughters, Mrs. Shirley McFarland and Mrs. Elizabeth Sabatula, both of Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Joyce Hunt, Sterling Heights, Mich.; Darlene LaClair, at home; three brothers, Lewis LaClair, Hopwood; Charles LaClair, Uniontown Pa.; John LaClair, Uniontown, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Norma Guyton, Uniontown, Pa.; Mrs. Elizabeth Guthrie, Fairchance; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Harry LaClair and Herbert LaClair, preceded him in death. Friends were received at the Thomas M. Dolfi Funeral Home, successor to the Victor A. DeCarlo Funeral Home, at 136 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown. Services were held there Sunday at 1 p.m. with Dr. Earl P. Confer officiating. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery, Hopwood.
