  JOHN R. LAFFERTY
  
    John R. Lafferty, 46, of Hyndman RD 1, died Oct. 12, 1981, in
  Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Md.
    He was born in Buffalo Mills RD 1, Feb. 1, 1935, son of Charles W.
  Lafferty, who preceded him in death, and Annie Poorbaugh Lafferty,
  who resides at Buffalo Mills RD 1.
    He is also survived by his widow, Donna Evans Lafferty; two sons,
  Dale Eugene and Terry Edward Lafferty, both at home; two daughters,
  Mrs. Delores Elaine Chaney of Berlin and Mrs. Glenna G. Thomas of
  Hyndman; one brother, Forrest Uriah Lafferty, Buffalo Mills RD 1, two
  sisters, Mrs. Mary Holler, Buffalo Mills, and Mrs. Hazel Stouffer of
  Ebensburg.  Mr. Lafferty was a bricklayer, served as a PFC in the
  Army and was a member of the Central Christian Church.
    Funeral services were held at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home
  with the Rev. Galen Beitzel officiating.  Interment, Hyndman Cemetery.
