  OREN W. LAFFERTY
  
    Oren W. Lafferty, 68, Berlin, died Sept. 11, 1980, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.
    He was born in Buffalo Mills RD, Jan. 19, 1912, a son of Charles W.
  and Annie (Poorbaugh) Lafferty.  He is survived by his mother;
  sisters, Mrs. Hazel A. Stover, Ebensburg, and Mrs. Edward Holler,
  Buffalo Mills, RD 1; and brothers, Forrest U., Buffalo Mills, Grant
  C., Tazwell, Va., and John E., Hyndman.  He was a retired laborer and
  served in the army during WW II as a sergeant.  He lived in Berlin for
  50 years.
    Funeral services were held at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home,
  Hyndman, Mr. Rollin Mader officiating.  Interment, Pleasant Ridge
  Cemetery.
