  RAYMOND R. LAFFERTY
  
    Raymond R. Lafferty, 74, Buffalo Mills RD, died Dec. 23, 1973, in
  Windber Hospital.  Born May 8, 1899, in Bedford County, he was a son
  of James and Margaret (Oster) Lafferty.  He was preceded in death by
  his wife, the former Mae Adams, and a son, Walter James.
    Surviving are these children: Mildred, wife of Raymond Shippey, and
  Reuben Lafferty, both of Manns Choice RD; and Ray of Meyersdale; also
  21 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lester,
  Hyndman; and Perry of Altoona; and a sister, Mabel Schroyer, also of
  Altoona.
    He was a retired railroader.
    Funeral Service was held Thursday afternoon in Mickle Funeral Home,
  Schellsburg, with Rev. George O. Butz officiating.  Interment in
  Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Buffalo Mills RD.
