  James Arthur Lake Sr., 58, of Hooversville, died May 20, 2002, at UPMC Lee
  Regional Hospital.  Born Jan. 16, 1944 in Hooversville, son of Albert
  Lincoln Sr. and Ruth (Reddick) Lake.  Preceded in death by father, son
  James Arthur Jr., and grandson Scott LaBryer.  Survived by mother of
  Toronto, Ohio, and his five children: Linda May married to Mark Monteith,
  Hooversville; Dorothy LaBryer, Greensburg; Pearl Teets, Davidsville; Starla
  O'Rourke, Somerset; and Brian Swope, Hooversville.  Also survived by 18
  grandchildren.  Brother of Dorothy Coward, Millville, N.J.; Albert Lake,
  Leesburg, N.J.; Daniel Lake, Byesville, Ohio; Sandra married to William
  Benning, Garrett; Ernest Lake, Central City; John Lake, Somerset; and Ruth
  Lake, Toronto, Ohio.  Formerly employed at Miller Picking with 31 years
  service.  No viewing or receiving of friends at James' request.
