Lambert, 73, of Frey Village Retirement Community, Middletown, died July 9, 1998, at the Village. Formerly of New Cumberland. Retired route salesman for Schmidt Bread Co., Emigsville. Member of Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Fairview Twp., and New Cumberland American Legion, William H. Nauss Post 143. World War II Navy veteran. Born May 22, 1925, in Lambertsville to the late Jonathan and Mildred (Reed) Lambert. Widower of Martha E. Lambert, he is survived by five sons: Cary A. of West Grove, Barry W. of Harrisburg, Arthur W. Duppstadt of York, Dan L. Duppstadt of Hershey and Dale A. Duppstadt of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Penny Sheib of Newark, Del.; a sister, Alta Michaels of Johnstown; also 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home Inc., New Cumberland. Burial at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Somerset County Memorial Park, Somerset.
