Born May 3, 1926, son of the late Leo and Margaret (Dempsey) Lambert. Preceded in death by two brothers Robert A. and Francis Joseph Lambert. Survived by his wife the former Mary A. (Musser) Lambert, children: Susan and Mark E. Drauschak, Pottstown; William and Jody Lambert, Forks Township; Ann and Scott Sick of Millville; James and Melanie Lambert, Forks Township; sister-in-law Catherine G. Lambert of Dushore, Pa.; grandchildren: Jessica, Francis, Daniel, Benjamin, and Thomas Lambert, Steven and Lisa Drauschak, Meredith and Bethany Lambert, Katie Sick and Hannah Sick. Numerous nieces and nephews. A 1944 graduate of St. Basil's High School, he succeeded to the ownership of the Lambert Century Farm in 1951. He was a former Director of the Sullivan County Telephone Company and also a supervisor and secretary for Forks Township. A longtime member of Eastern Milk Producer's Co-op, former president of the Sulbra Local of Eastern Milk Producers and a committee member of the A.S.C.S. for 12 years. A member of the Bradford/Sullivan FHA Advisory Board and a member of the Sullivan County School Board Consolidation Committee for planning the new school in Laporte. An active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Overton and was president of the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery Association. Friends received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Church, Overton, with the Rev. Michael B. Harris, presiding. Interment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
