    LAMBERT
    
    George Lambert, 82, of Shanksville died Jan. 3 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  He was born Nov. 11, 1890, in Stonycreek
  Township, the son of the late Irvin and Kathryn Landis Lambert.  He
  is survived by his widow, the former Edith Dively; children, Mrs.
  Jack (Etelka) Reiber of Irwin; Mrs. Anthony (Laura Kathryn) Muchard
  of Victor, N.Y., and Tom F. of Aliquippa; 11 grandchildren; and two
  great-grandchildren.  He was the brother of Mrs. Clarence Kimmel and
  Lee L. Lambert, both of Stoystown RD 3.  He had served as an assessor
  in Somerset and Cumberland counties.  He was a World War I Army
  veteran, a member of Stonycreek Valley American Legion Post 911 and
  Veterans of World War I Barracks 3218 of Somerset.  Private funeral
  service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Charles R. Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown by the Rev. William A. Boyer.  Interment in
  Glade Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-5 p.m.
  Friday only.  In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to
  their favorite charity.
