He was born Nov. 11, 1890, in Stonycreek Township, the son of the late Irvin and Kathryn Landis Lambert. He is survived by his widow, the former Edith Dively; children, Mrs. Jack (Etelka) Reiber of Irwin; Mrs. Anthony (Laura Kathryn) Muchard of Victor, N.Y., and Tom F. of Aliquippa; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Mrs. Clarence Kimmel and Lee L. Lambert, both of Stoystown RD 3. He had served as an assessor in Somerset and Cumberland counties. He was a World War I Army veteran, a member of Stonycreek Valley American Legion Post 911 and Veterans of World War I Barracks 3218 of Somerset. Private funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown by the Rev. William A. Boyer. Interment in Glade Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-5 p.m. Friday only. In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to their favorite charity. Daily American, January 4, 1973 [L0059]
