  Howard E. (Hopper) Lambert, 91, of Stoystown RD 3, (Lambertsville)
  died Sept. 5, 1978 in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 2, 1886
  in Stonycreek Township, son of James and Elizabeth (Fleegle)
  Lambert.  Preceded in death by parents; son, James; three brothers;
  and three sisters.  Survived by widow, the former Kathryn Crissey and
  one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Betty) Spangler, Stoystown RD 3.  Member of
  Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown.  Was a retired coal miner, paint
  contractor, and steel worker.  Death ends a marriage union of 64
  years.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at
  the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where funeral services will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Herbert G. Hohman assisted
  by the Rev. Ronald C. Long.  Interment, Lambertsville Cemetery.
