Lambert, 89, of Stoystown RD 3 (Lambertsville) died Dec. 29, 1994, at Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 7, 1905, in Stonycreek Township. Son of Irvin and Catherine (Landis) Lambert. Preceded in death by parents; his wife, the former Elizabeth Baker; son, Theodore; sister, Blanche Kimmel, and brother, George Lambert. Survived by these children: Mrs. Thurman (Fay) Korns and Ned and his friend Deborah Shaffer, both of Stoystown RD 3; Mrs. Robert (Pat) Shaffer, Schellsburg, and Mrs. William (Bonnie) Stutzman, Friedens RD 2. Also 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Former Somerset County coal miner. Retired from Shanksville Builder's Supply. Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville; Somerset Lodge 438, IOOF, and UMWA. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Rev. William H. Snyder.
