    LAMBERT
    
      Martha E. Lambert, 72, of Frey Village, Middletown, and formerly
  of Etters died July 29, 1997, in the village.  Born June 10, 1925, in
  Lambertsville to the late Silas and Sylvia (Dishong) Shumaker.  Was a
  member of Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Fairview
  Township, and its United Methodist Women Group.  Survived by her
  husband, Donald W. Lambert, and was the widow of William Duppstadt. 
  She is survived by 5 sons: Arthur W. Duppstadt of York, Dan L.
  Duppstadt of Hummelstown, Dale A. Duppstadt of Mechanicsburg, Cary A.
  Lambert of West Grove and Barry W. Lambert of Lemoyne; a daughter,
  Penny Sheib of Newark, Del.; 3 brothers: John Shumaker of Olympia,
  Wash.; Glenn Shumaker of Elizabethtown, and Roy Shumaker of Little
  Rock, Ark.; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  Services
  will be held at 8 p.m. Friday in the Parthemore Funeral Home, New
  Cumberland.  The Rev. Timothy R. Baer, her pastor, will officiate. 
  Burial at noon Saturday in Somerset County Memorial Park, Somerset. 
  The Rev. Glenn Shumaker, her brother, will officiate at graveside. 
  Viewing will be 7-9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.  Memorial
  contributions may be made to the church at 402 Valley Rd., Etters,
  Pa. 17319.
