Born May 19, 1933 in Shade Township, son of Kenneth and Margaret (Durstine) Lambert. Preceded in death by parents, grandson Matthew Brien Will and sister Joan Buchanan. Survived by wife of 46 years Marlene (Weimer) Lambert and these children: Richard A., Stoystown, Russell E., married to the former Peggy Maust, Somerset, Vanessa C. married to Luther Gardner Jr., Friedens, Timothy J. married to the former Barbara Monticue, Somerset, Peggy M. married to Terry Reese, Friedens, and Patricia A. married to Brian Will, Stoystown. Also these grandchildren: Travis married to the former Jaime Knopsnyder; Adam, Michael, Cody, and Faith Lambert; Benjamin and Nathan Gardner; Jonathan and Elizabeth Reese, and Rebecca and Brianna Will. Also brothers Louis Lambert, Somerset, and Leonard Lambert, Hummelstown, and sisters Marian married to James Collins of Confluence and Alice married to Burdette Walker, Rockwood. He was a retired coal miner with 19 years at Solar Fuel, Somerset, and 11 years at Conesville Coal Co. in Ohio. Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Member of the United Mine Workers Local 1366, Shanksville American Legion Post 0911, VFW Post 1330 of Coshocton, Ohio. Member of Samuel's Lutheran Church. Friends will be received 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Rev. Dean Pizer Sr. officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
