"Shorty" Lambert, 78, Stoystown RD 3, (Lambertsville) died Oct. 9, 1975 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born July 6, 1897 in Lambertsville, a son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Gohn) Lambert. Preceded in death by parents, one sister and eight brothers. Survived by his widow, the former Margaret Miller; one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Elizabeth) Snyder, Stoystown RD 3, two grandchildren, Eileen and Ronald and four great-grandchildren. He was a brother of Ivan of Somerset and Jonathan, Stoystown RD 3. Death ends a marriage union of 56 years. He was a retired coal miner, a member of Unity United Church of Christ and Local No. 7896 UMWA in Cairnbrook. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home in Stoystown where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Richard H.
