Born Feb. 23, 1922, in Greentree, Allegheny County. Son of the late John Winus and Doris (Parkhurst) LaMond. Also preceded in death by son, Randolph Earl LaMond Jr.; 9 brothers and 1 sister. Survived by wife, the former Mildred Margaret Hauer, to whom he was married 49 years, and these children: Mrs. George E. (Mildred) McKinnis, Tionesta; Mrs. Thomas (Alice) McKay, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Stephen (Randa) Perino, Somerset RD 4; John A. LaMond, Pittsburgh; Mrs. James (Christine) Cimillo, Venice, Fla.; David C. LaMond, Somerset RD 4; Mrs. Robert (Gayle) Long, Acosta; 26 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Brother of Jim LaMond, Mount Dora, Fla.; Douglas LaMond, Maryland; Will Rogers LaMond, Tavares, Fla.; Wylie Post LaMond, Washington, D.C.; Bud LaMond, Philadelphia; Caroline LaMond, Washington, D.C. World War II Army veteran. Served in European Theater. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Charles F. Olson officiating.
