Born Aug. 2, 1916, in Johnstown, son of Frank and Josephine (Sclaroa) Lamonica. Preceded in death by parents and brother Sebastian "Bussy." Survived by his wife, the former Annetta "Ann" Policicchio; son, Vincent Jr., married to Tracey Hill, Laughlintown, and daughter, Annetta, Germantown, Md. Brother of Esther Donia, Boswell, and Samuel, Boswell RD 2; also numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Boswell; Jenner Rod and Gun Club and Boswell Lodge 1780, Sons of Italy. World War II Army veteran. Along with wife, formerly owned and operated Washington Furnace Inn, Laughlintown, for more than 22 years. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by Sons of Italy service. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church, with the Rev. Father Harold N. Biller officiating. Interment, Mount Carmel Cemetery. Daily American, August 25, 1993 [L0097]
