Mrs. Lamont was born on Feb. 15, 1963, in Decatur, Ill., a daughter of Charles R. and Janet J. (Harris) Shurtleff, now of Franklin Park, Pa. Mrs. Lamont was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Penn State, where she received a B.S. in marketing. She worked as the retail manager of Kids 'R Us in Wilkes-Barre until the birth of her first child. While living in Somerset, she served as vice-president and later, president of the Welcome Wagon. After moving to Collegeville in November 1994, she became a member of the Perkiomen Valley Friends and Neighbors. She also enjoyed crafts and cooking. She was a member of the Valley View Community Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lamont is survived by her husband, Wm. John Lamont IV, her two daughters, Ashley N. and Lauren M. Lamont; and one sister, Karen L. Shurtleff of Columbus, Ohio. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fairview Village Church of the Nazarene, 3044 Germantown Pike, Fairview Village. Officiating will be Pastor Bruce Carter, pastor of the Valley View Community Church, Pa. Friends may call at the church after 7 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be on Thursday in Handschumacker Cemetery in Upper Glade, W.Va. Contributions in Mrs. Lamont's memory may be made to Valley View Community Church, c/o Pastor Bruce Carter, 3012 Fairhill Drive, Collegeville, Pa. 19426.
