  Archie Connor Lamp, 87, Somerset, formerly of Rockwood, died March
  29, 1988, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 5, 1901, in
  Mellon, W.Va., son of the late Cyrus Benjamin and Rachel Florence
  (Maul) Lamp.  Preceded in death by son, Willard, in 1987; five
  brothers and four sisters.  Survived by wife, the former Ruth L.
  Dwire, and sons B. George, Point Pleasant RD 1, W.Va.; and A. Lloyd,
  Markleton RD 1; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.  Brother
  of: Mrs. Daisy Cain, Belleville, W.Va.; and John S. Lamp, Pennsboro,
  W.Va.  Retired employee of the Western Union Telegraph Co.  Member of
  Somerset Church of Christ.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be
  held at 3 p.m. Thursday, with Mr. John W. Hinton officiating. 
  Interment, Rockwood Cemetery.  Family suggests contributions to
  Southern Alleghenies Lung Assoc., N. Center Ave., Somerset.
