  WALTER R. LANDEFELD
  
    Walter R. Landefeld, 83, Garrett RD 1, died May 8, 1981, at Siemon
  Lakeview Manor Estate.
    He was born April 15, 1897, in Pittsburgh, a son of Henry and Anna M.E.
  (Landefeld) Landefeld.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one
  sister, one brother and two nephews.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Etha Shober; a sister, Mrs. Clara
  Woestehoff, Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.  He was an Army
  veteran of WWI.
    Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where
  services were held with Mr. John Lebo, reader, officiating.  Interment,
  Beachdale Cemetery.
