    LANDIS
    
    Bert E. Landis, 66, Meyersdale, died Nov. 16, 1987, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born April 11, 1921, in Meyersdale, son of the
  late Raymond P. and Delphia L. (Matthias) Landis.  Survived by his
  wife, the former Mary Catherine Cordrey; and two daughters: Mrs.
  Barbara J. Spiker, Somerset; and Nancy Landis, Junction City,
  Kansas.  A brother of: Miss Delphia L. Landis, Meyersdale; and John
  P. Landis, York, Pa.  Member of Zion Lutheran Church.  Veteran of
  U.S. Army World War II.  Member of the American Legion Post 112 and
  V.F.W. Post 3504.  Retired U.S. Postal employee.  Friends will be
  received 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
  Thursday, with the Rev. David Fetter officiating.  Interment, Union
  Cemetery.
