Landis, died Monday evening, Nov. 25th, at her home on Cumberland Street, after a long illness. She was a daughter of the late Michael Ream and wife, and was twice married. Her first husband was Herbert Strawn. She was a devoted mother and fine Christian woman. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Harry Driggs, Berlin; Mrs. J. Robert Spangler, Somerset; Harry A. Landis, at home, Maurice Strawn, Berlin; Mrs. J. B. McClelland, Johnstown; Mrs. Elmer R. Nelson, Cleveland, Ohio. A son, Lloyd Strawn is deceased. Also ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren survive and these brothers and sisters - John O. Ream and Hiram Ream, Berlin; Claude Ream, Florida; Mrs. Lizzie Altfather, Mrs. Florence Zorn and Mrs. John Groff, all of Berlin. Funeral services were held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in charge of Rev. Robert S. Nagle, at her late residence. Interment, under the direction of Johnson and Son, in the Berlin cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, December 6, 1946
