  Edith M. Landis, 87, Stoystown RD 3, died Aug. 1, 1986, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born May 17, 1899, in Stonycreek Township,
  daughter of late David and Ida (Weigle) Rayman.  Preceded in death by
  husband, George D.; and sister, Leora.  Survived by daughters: Mrs.
  Charles (Helen) Johanson, Alberquerque, N.M.; and Mrs. Charles F.
  (Betty) Rhoads, Stoystown RD 3; also five grandchildren and 10
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Millard, Friedens RD 1.  Member of
  Faith Lutheran Church.  Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday
  and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Charles J.
  Hartbauer.  Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
