  ELWOOD LANDIS
  
    Elwood S. Landis, 84, of Berlin RD 1 died Jan. 13, 1977, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    He was born Dec. 3, 1892, in Berlin a son of the late C. Wesley and
  Eximena (Shober) Landis.  He was preceded in death by two sisters.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Bertha Philson and these
  children: Mrs. Charles (Elizabeth) Merrill of Berlin; Mrs. Ben F.
  (Marylou) Walker of Pittsburgh; and Edwin P. of Berlin RD 1.
    He was a member of the Berlin Brethren Church and a retired
  livestock dealer and farmer.
    Friends were received in the Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin,
  where services were held with the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. 
  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
