She was a widow of Jesse Landis. A native of Stonycreek Township, she spent her entire life in Somerset County. She was born October 13, 1859. Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Hulda Kamp of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Layding, and a son, Norman Landis, residing in California. She also leaves five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at Berlin Brethren Church by the Rev. N. V. Leatherman. Interment will be in the Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Son, Berlin morticians. Meyersdale Republican, January 23, 1941
