  LANDIS
  
    Eva Mae Landis, 88, of Meyersdale, died Oct. 24, 1989, at
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 22, 1901, in Garrett
  County, Md., a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Wetmiller)
  Meese.  Preceded in death by her husband, Robert E., in 1976.  She is
  survived by two daughters, Anna and Roberta, wife of James Miller,
  both of Meyersdale; three grandchildren and two
  great-grandchildren.  She was a sister of George Meese of Frostburg,
  Md., and June Kovacs of Navarre, Ohio.  She was a member of the
  Boynton Assembly of God.  Friends will be received in the Leckemby
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, on Wednesday, 7-9 p.m., and Thursday, 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m., where services will be Friday at 2 p.m., with the Rev.
  Larry Gegner officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
