  LANDIS
  
    Hazel (Thomas) Landis, 79, of Main Street, Boswell, went to be with
  her Lord May 31, 1998 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born
  Feb. 5, 1919 in Jenner Township, daughter of James G. and Erma
  (Shaffer) Thomas.  Preceded in death by parents, daughter Sandra Reed
  in 1959, husbands Vernon Yoder in 1948, Charles Stufft in 1976 and
  William Landis in 1987; brothers Jay and Vernon (Bud) and infant
  sister Margaret.  Survived by children Vernon (Buddy) Yoder, married
  to the former Clara Supanick, Somerset RD; Jackie (Stufft), wife of
  Michael McKinley, Friedens RD; and Lori (Stufft), wife of Dennis
  Hutchison, Johnstown; step-children William (B.J.) Landis, of
  Ebensburg; Eugene (Elfie) Landis and Barry Landis, both of Boswell
  RD; grandchildren Tracy MacDonald, James T. Yoder, Travis and
  Michelle McKinley and Erin and Jessica Hutchison; and great-grandson
  W. Tanner MacDonald.  Sister of Milton, of Del Ray Beach, Fla. 
  Member of Hopewell United Methodist Church, Hollsopple RD and Gilmour
  Retirees.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell.  Viewing also from 10
  a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hopewell
  Church.  The Rev. Wilma G. Horner officiating.  Interment Odd Fellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.  Memorial may be made to Hazel's church at 151
  Hopewell Church Road, Hollsopple 15935.
