  LANDIS
  
    Judd R. Landis Sr., 62, of Meyersdale, went to be with his Lord on
  Feb. 18, 1997.  Born Feb. 24, 1934, in Brothersvalley Township, a son
  of Ruby (Dively) Landis of Berlin RD 3 and the late Judd A. Landis. 
  Survived by his wife, the former Mary Alice Ohler, and these
  children: Judd R. Jr., of Bedford; Diane M. Landis and Deborah
  Dilbon, both of Meyersdale, and Vicky Shumaker of Duncansville; nine
  grandchildren.  Brother of John Foor of Herkimer, N.Y.; William
  Landis of Glencoe RD 1; Stanton, Gary and Edward, all of Berlin RD 3;
  Judy Cook of Arlington, Va.; Sally Faidley of Sipesville; Sharon
  Faidley and Barbara Landis, both of Berlin RD 3; also a number of
  nieces and nephews.  Mr. Landis was a 27-year employee for A & P
  groceries and owned Crow's Market for six years and was a retired
  employee of Lincoln Contracting.  A member of Zion Lutheran Church,
  Meyersdale Moose Lodge, Meyersdale Elks and life member of the
  Meyersdale Volunteer Fire Department.  Family will receive friends
  Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, where service will
  be held at 3 p.m., the Rev. Randall Marburger and Rev. Ralph Landis
  officiating.  The family suggests contributions be made to the Zion
  Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in his name.  Arrangements are under
  the direction of the Leckemby Funeral Home.
