  LANDIS
  
  Luella Rose Landis, 87, of Berlin RD 1 died Jan. 23, 1978, at the
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 19, 1890, in Brothersvalley
  Township, a daughter of Silas and Rebecca (Cover) Hauger.  Preceded in
  death by her parents; her husband, Ralph K. Landis, who died in 1968;
  two sisters; and one brother.  Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Samuel
  J. (Emily) Cupp of Berlin RD 1; two grandsons: David Cupp of Bedford
  and James Cupp of State College, two brothers: Jay Hauger of Berlin
  RD 3 and Arlo Hauger of Bradenton, Fla.  Member of the Trinity United
  Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school for many years;
  attended Indiana State College and taught school in Brothersvalley
  Township prior to her marriage.  Friends will be received after 2
  p.m. Wednesday in the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home in Berlin where
  services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles W.
  Sigler officiating.  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
