  LANDIS
  
  Mary E. Landis, 64, of Bluffton, Ohio, died Jan. 11, 1989, in
  Bluffton Community Hospital.  She was born Jan. 5, 1925, Berlin, Pa.,
  to Clarence W. and Mary Altfather.  Preceded in death by father.  Also
  surviving are her husband, William Landis; two daughters: Bonnie
  Cartwright, Bluffton; and Sharon Young, Toledo, Ohio; a brother, C.W.
  Altfather Jr., Somerset; 3 sisters: Jeanne Lambert, Berlin; Dorothy
  Deeter, Toledo, Ohio; Sandra Termin, Temperance, Mich.; 2
  grandsons.  Funeral services will be Saturday 2 p.m. St. John's
  United Church of Christ, Bluffton, the Rev. Rodney Slessor.  Burial,
  Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.  Visitation Friday 2-9 p.m. Diller
  Funeral Home, Bluffton.  Memorials may be made to the Bluffton
  Community Hospital.
