Landis, 80, of 806 Smith St., Somerset, died July 1, 1983, at Somerset Community Hospital. He was born May 16, 1903, in Stonycreek Township, son of the late Abraham A. and Hattie (Walker) Landis. He is survived by wife, the former Marian Dively; two sons, David of Dallas, Texas; Dale of Polk; and one daughter, Alice Craft of Somerset RD 2; and five grandchildren. He was the brother of Victor, Pompano Beach, Fla.; and Mrs. Vernon (Mary) Lambert of Somerset RD 5. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, the I.O.O.F. Lodge of Berlin, the Roxbury Sportsmen Association. He was a former dairy farmer by occupation and a retired Pennsylvania Turnpike employee. His death terminates a marriage union of 50 years. Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral services were conducted with the Rev. H. Wayne Beam officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
