  PEARL I. LANDIS
  
    Pearl I. Landis, 96, of Richmond, Va. died March 20, 2001, in
  Richmond.  Born Sept. 8, 1904, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late
  William Conrad Baker and Margaret Elizabeth (Miller) Baker.  Mrs.
  Landis was preceded in death by her husband Roy W. Landis.  Surviving
  are three sons: Alan of Richmond, Va., Harold of Adelphi, Ohio, and
  Roy of Washingtonville, Ohio.  Also a sister Barbara Engle of
  Meyersdale, 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.  Friends
  will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Leckemby
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be held at 1 p.m.
  Sunday, Pastor Randy Haulk officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
