  RAE D. LANDIS
  
    Rae D. Landis, 85, of Hay Street, Berlin, died March 9, 1978.  She
  was born Sept. 25, 1892, in Stonycreek Township, a daughter of the
  late Abraham and Sarah (Speicher) Lowry.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry E.
  Landis, who died in 1963; and two brothers.
    She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Marian) Klose, of Berlin;
  two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs.
  Grace Sembower, Rockwood; and Mrs. Kate Hay, Berlin; also two
  brothers, Edgar and Millard Lowry, both of North Canton, Ohio.
    She was a member of the Berlin Brethren Church and the Women's
  Missionary Society of the Berlin Brethren Church, and the Second
  Society of Farm Women.
    Services were held Sunday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home with
  the Rev. Ralph Mills officiating.  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
