  ROBERT D. LANDIS
  
    Robert D. Landis, 52, 809 Main St., Berlin, died Dec. 4, 1979, at
  home.  He was born Oct. 26, 1927, in Brothersvalley Township, son of
  Ralph and Anna (Queer) Landis.  He was preceded in death by parents,
  three brothers, one sister, and one daughter, Belinda.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Betty Benning, and the
  following children: Jeffrey L. of Friedens; Chris O., U.S. Army in
  Panama; Craig E. and Sonya D., both at home; two grandchildren; and
  the following brothers and sisters: Judd and Myron, both of Berlin RD
  3; Ray and Ralph, both of Berlin; Mrs. Guy (Geraldine) Raupach of
  Glencoe; Mrs. Roy (Ruth) Kammer of York; and Mrs. Phoebe Hosselton of
  Cocoa Beach, Fla.
    He was a member of the Robert Walker Post No. 4333 VFW and the
  Harry Fisher Post 445 American Legion of Berlin and he was employed
  at the Somerset Ceramics Co.
    Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin,
  where services were held with the Rev. Charles W. Sigler
  officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
