    Rose A. Landis, 85, Akron, Ohio, formerly of Meyersdale, died Sept.
  22, 1996, in Akron General Hospital.  Born Jan. 18, 1911, in
  Meyersdale, daughter of the late Eugene and Anna (Beal) Bowman. 
  Preceded in death by husbands, Gilbert Lindeman and Marshall Landis;
  daughter, Joy Ann Marker; brother, Eugene, and sister, Grace. 
  Survived by daughter, Patricia Reese of Akron; 3 grandchildren and 5
  great-grandchildren.  Member of Main Street Brethren Church.  Friends
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Leckemby Funeral Home, where
  service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Richard Woodin. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery.
