  ROY W. LANDIS
  
    Roy W. Landis, 75, of 121 College Avenue, Mt. Pleasant, died
  January 13, 1978, in the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, Va.
    He was born February 21, 1902, in Meyersdale.  He was the son of
  the late William H. and Lucinda (Bare) Landis.  
    He retired from Mt. Pleasant State Bank in 1968.  He was a member
  of The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and choir, of Mt. Pleasant.  
    He is survived by his wife, the former Pearl Baker; stepmother,
  Mary (Thomas) Landis, Meyersdale; three sons, Howard, of
  Washingtonville, Ohio; Harold, of Circleville, Ohio; and Alan, of
  Richmond, Va.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
    He was a brother of Mrs. Clarence (Ruth) Schrock, and Mrs. Claude
  (Dorothy) Yoder of Cumberland, Md.
    Services were conducted January 16, from The Good Shepherd Lutheran
  Church, with the Rev. Eugene Newell officiating.
    Interment in Somerset Memorial Park, Somerset.
