Diveley Foor Landis, 88, of Macdonaldton, died March 21, 2002, at her residence. Born Nov. 27, 1913 in Northampton Township, daughter of Jonas C. and Mary (Mishler) Diveley. Preceded in death by her parents; husbands John M. Foor and Judd A. Landis; son Judd R. Landis Sr.; grandchildren, Melissa K. Faidley, an infant, baby Foor; son-in-law, James W. Cook; brothers, Merle, Homer, Spurgeon and Victor; sisters Maude Ludy, Mabel Smith and Hazel Heinle. Survived by children: John C. Foor, married to the former Betty Pritts, Herkimer, N.Y., William S. Landis, married to the former Vera Wilt, Berlin, Stan Landis, married to the former Bonnie Bereider, Macdonaldton, Gary D. Landis, married to the former Denise Livengood, Fort Hill, Edward P. Landis, married to the former Shirley Beeghly, Macdonaldton, Judy Landis Cook, Centreville, Va., Sally, married to Elmer M. Faidley Jr., Somerset, Sharen, married to George R. Faidley Jr., Shanksville, Barbara Jean, at home; 24 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a daughter-in-law, Mary A. Landis, Meyersdale. Member of the Berlin Brethren Church. She enjoyed her family, cooking and gardening. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday; 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, and from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Berlin Brethren Church.
