WILLIAM H. LANDIS

  William H. Landis, 73, a retired farmer, died last Saturday night at his home 
on Keystone Street.
  He was born on Nov. 10, 1870.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary (Miller) 
Landis, and five children - Samuel, Pittsburgh; Edison M. and Norman E., both of 
Decoran, Mich.; W. Clyde, Cleveland, O.; and Mrs. Ernest Merrbach, Meyersdale.  
He also leaves 13 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Neimiller and Mrs. 
Lloyd Hostetler, both of Meyersdale.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Amity 
Evangelical and Reformed Church of which he was a member, by Rev. Nelson C. 
Brown, assisted by Rev. De Witt Miller.  Interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at 
Berlin, under the direction of W. C. Price & Son.
