  LANE
  
  Albert E. Lane, 92, of Garrett, died April 7, 1987, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  He was born Feb. 4, 1895.  Preceded in death by
  his widow, Lillian Hoyman in 1974.  Survived by a son, Albert W. of
  Willingboro, N.J.; five grandchildren and seven
  great-grandchildren.  He was a loving father, grandfather and friend
  and a great inspiration to all who knew him.  He was a member of the
  Garrett United Church of Christ, a retired B&O Railroad employee and
  a member of the Brotherhood and Ways of the B&O Railroad.  He
  graduated from the Sweeny Automobile School, Kansas City, Mo. 
  Friends will be received at the Leckemby Funeral Home Wednesday 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. where services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
  William Phennicie officiating.  Interment, Garrett Cemetery.
