Lane, 80, Willingboro, N.J., died Oct. 17, 2002, at Cinnaminson Center, Cinnaminson, N.J. He was born in Johnstown. He served his country in the U.S. Army for 22 years, including World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Reformed Church in Willingboro. He worked for Drexel University for 20 years. He was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alice (nee Murphy) Lane; two sons, George, Clemmons, N.C. and David, Burlington, N.J., three daughters, Sally Patterson, Beverly, N.J., Bonnie Pallante, Coty, Wyo. and Elaine Doto, Phoenix, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and dear friends. A funeral was held Monday at the Goes-Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Parkway, Willingboro, N.J. Interment was in Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J.
