    GEORGE F. LANE
    
      George F. Lane, 58, Arlington, Va., formerly of Berlin, died
  Sept. 20, 1976.  He was born in Berlin May 14, 1918, the son of
  George F. and Erma (Hay) Lane.  Preceded in death by his wife, the
  former Eleanor Williams in 1973, and his father, he is survived by
  one son, Scott, Arlington, Va.; his mother, Mrs. Erma Lane,
  Arlington; and a brother, Robert, of Hobbs, New Mexico.  He was a
  member of the Falls Church, Va.  Presbyterian Church.  Friends were
  received in the Johnson and Son Funeral Home in Berlin where services
  were held Sept. 23 with the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. 
  Interment, IOOF Cemetery, Berlin.
