    LANEY
    
    June H. Laney, 85, 430 North Center Ave., Somerset, formerly of
  Boswell and South Fork, died unexpectedly Oct. 1, 1987, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born June 9, 1987, at Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born June 9, 1902, in Jenner Township, daughter of George
  Hayes and Sadie Berkey.  Preceded in death by parents; step-father,
  William H. Horner; husband, Russell E. Laney, who died May 21, 1957;
  and step-sister, June Kennell.  Survived by half-sister, Marie, wife
  of Roy Baker, Boswell RD 1; also several nieces and nephews. 
  Affiliated with Lambs Bridge Service Station, South Fork, for 30
  years; child supervisor at Children's Aid Home, Somerset, for many
  years.  Friends received from 11 a.m. Saturday until time of service
  at 1 p.m., at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, with
  the Rev. Warren C. Cravotta officiating.  Interment, Forest Lawn
  Cemetery.
