Y., formerly of Berlin, died Feb. 6, 1982, at Crouse Irving Hospital, Syracuse. She was the daughter of Orin O. and Orpha Swope, of Berlin. She is survived by her husband, Rev. William Lange, Jr., of Syracuse, N. Y.; a son, William Lange III, of New Hampshire; a daughter, Diana (Lange) Saliba, of Morrisville, N. Y.; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter; two sisters, Helen (Swope) Lehman, of Takoma Park, MD and Elnora (Swope) Tonkovich, of Berlin; three half-brothers, C. Robert Swope, of Orange, Va.; John O. Swope, of Takoma Park, Md.; Harry E. Swope, of Wheaton, Md. and a half-sister, Barbara (Swope) Miller, of Berlin. Her death terminates a marriage of 47 years.
