Lankey, 77, Jenners, died March 24, 2006, at Somerset Hospital. Born March 17, 1929, in Stahlstown, son of Cleve and Dora Lankey. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Bessie Lankey and Mabel Lohr; and brother, Kenneth Lankey. Survived by wife of 55 years, the former M. Dorothy Karla; daughter, Patricia, married to Donald Baker Jr., Somerset; and numerous nieces and nephews. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Retired employee of the former S.C.M. Metals Inc., Johnstown. Member of Jenner Grace Brethren Church, where he served as deacon and trustee. He was an avid bowler and golfer. A memorial service will be held at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, April 2, at Jenner Grace Brethren Church. The Rev. Shawn M. Ostrander officiating. Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Lung Association, 3001 Old Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, Pa. 17001, or the Jenner Grace Brethren Church, 5100 Front St., Jenners, Pa. 15546.
