Born in Acme, Aug. 23, 1923, a son of the late Arthur and Clara Lankey. He was the widower of Goldie M. (Fetters), whom he married Jan. 17, 1955, and she preceded him in death on Jan. 2, 1992. Also preceded in death by brother, Ray. Survived by son, Thomas Fetters and wife Mary Jane, Somerset; daughter, Charlotte Shroyer, wife of Douglas Burket, Everett; son Ronald, husband of Mary Berkheimer, Manns Choice; sister, Margaret Gearhart, Connellsville; and six grandchildren, Brian Shroyer, Becky Rose, Ronald and Leo Lankey, and Chad and Troy Fetters. He was a self employed sign painter, an accomplished maker and player of the guitar, fiddle and mandolin and played at area Bluegrass festivals. He played with the "Laurel Hill Mountain Boys" band on Somerset radio stations. Visitation from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service Friday, at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg. The Rev.
