  LAPE
  
    Clyde M. Lape, 77, of Listie, died Oct. 31, 1997, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 3, 1919, in Meyersdale, son of the late Robert
  M. and Edna (Smith) Lape.  Survived by his wife of 60 years, the
  former Grace L. Lavan; one son, Bernard M. Lape, married to the
  former Mary Hause, of Somerset RD 1; two granddaughters and one
  great-granddaughter.  Veteran of the U.S. Army.  Owned and operated a
  service station in the Johnstown area for many years.  Graveside
  memorial service was conducted Saturday at the Lavansville Cemetery
  under the direction of the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home.  Family
  suggests memorial contributions to In Touch Hospice, 651 S. Center
  Ave. Somerset.
