SARAH CATHERINE LAPE

  Mrs. Sarah Catherine (Ellenberger) Lape, 77, died at 6:30 a.m. last Sunday at 
her home in Somerset.  She had been in ill health since last December.  Her 
husband, Charles Lape, died two years ago.
  Mrs. Lape was born in Somerset County on Jan. 7, 1869, a daughter of Peter and 
Elizabeth (Hicks) Ellenberger, both deceased.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. 
T. C. Cowher and Miss Anna May Lape, both of Somerset; a son, Harry Lape, 
Somerset; a sister, Mrs. Rebekah Jones, Berlin; five grandchildren and seven 
great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger Funeral 
Home by Rev. I. Hess Wagner, D.D.  Interment in Husband Cemetery.
