(Myers) Lappi, 71, Jerome, died June 22, 2004, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Nov. 5, 1932, in St. Michael, daughter of Charles A. and Helen P. (Callahan) Myers. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert Louis, on Oct. 5, 1968; brothers, Charles, William, Joseph, Eugene, Girard and Robert; and sister, Mae Ross. Survived by sons, Joseph L., married to former Robin Bartlebaugh, Gallitzin; Terry E., married to former Lucy Bendick and Michael C. married to former Paula Kutchman, both of Jerome and Stephen E., and his companion, Yvonne Mazza, Denver; grandchildren, Rhonda, Shelly, Wendy, Holly, Heidi, Heather and Todd; great-granddaughters, Nichole and Makallie. Sister of Helen Varner, St. Michael, Jane Hoffman and Harold, both of Chicago, Louise Moore, St. Michael, Richard, Cleveland, and Catherine Custer, Portage. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Tracey. Member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville; Jerome Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the CROW Retirees. Employee of former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory, Boswell, and retired employee of former Somerset Manufacturing Co. Rachael shared God's greatest gift of love with everyone she knew. Friends received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Route 403 and Church Road, Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held Thursday evening. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anne Church. The Rev. Father Michael Lewandowski, OFM, Conv., celebrant. Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery, near Jerome.
