Born Oct. 30, 1915, in Ralphton. Son of Luigi and Mary (Sicheri) Lappi. Preceded in death by parents; son, Richard, and brothers, Fred and Robert Lewis. Survived by wife, the former Verna Horwat; son, Robert, Memphis, Tenn.; four grandchildren; sister, Dolly Zanoni, Boswell; brother Jerry, married to the former Reva Maust, Cleveland, Ohio, and sister-in-law, Rachel Lappi, Jerome. First sergeant Army veteran of World War II, having served in European Theater Operations. Avid hunter and golfer and in his youth, he was a local standout baseball pitcher. Before moving to Ohio in 1948, Reno was a truck driver for the former Penn Smokeless Fuel Co. of Hyasota. While in Ohio, he worked for General Motors and retired as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Funeral services were held in Ohio. Local arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Home, Boswell.
