Born March 26, 1930 in Lincoln Township, Somerset County, son of Frank Harry and Carrie Alma (Bittner) Larimer. Preceded in death by parents, brothers: Willard, Robert and Roy Larimer and two infant grandsons. Survived by wife the former Evelyn Marie Kline to whom he was married 48 years, children Ms. Marsha Kay Nair of Somerset, Mrs. Thomas S. (Pamela S.) Gainer of Lebanon, Scott Andrew Larimer of Casebeer Lutheran Church where he served in the choir, U.S. Army Veteran Korean Conflict, owner of Larimer TV Sales & Service from 1958-1992, welder for Bethlehem Steel Corp. Johnstown Works retiring in 1977, life member of VFW Post 554, member of American Legion Post 181, Jenner Rod & Gun Club. He loved Blue Grass music and played many string instruments in jam sessions. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Pop pop will be missed by his grandchildren. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Christ Casebeer Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Dennis L. Doebler officiating. Interment, Casebeer Cemetery. Viewing at the church one hour prior to service. Contributions may be made to Christ Casebeer Evangencal Lutheran Church, Somerset, sister-in-law Evelyn Stahl Larimer of Johnstown and Arlene Trimpey Larimer of Sipesville.
