Larimer, 64, Radian Drive, Johnstown, died March 1, 1989, at Allegheny general hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 7, 1925, in Somerset County, son of the late Frank and Carrie (Bittner) Larimer. Preceded in death by infant grandson and brothers: Willard and Roy Larimer. Survived by widow, the former Evelyn Stahl; and these children: Donna, wife of Ed Gros, Selina, Pa.; Lee, married to the former Sharleen Foor, Dallas, Texas; Marlene, wife of Steve Sawyer, Pasadena, Md.; Dean, married to the former Lora Evangelista. Geistown: 10 grandchildren; brother of Eugene, married to the Evelyn Kline, Somerset RD 3. Retired after 20 years service from the Schmidt Baking Co. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 110 and Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. A veteran of World War II, having served as a medic in the 35th Division, 137th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion, L Company. Recipient of two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. Friends will be received 4-9 p.m. Friday at the R. Owen Ketterer Funeral Home, Geistown. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ronald B. Reed officiating. Interment, Casebeer Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to Mt. Calvary Memorial Fund in the name of Robert N. Larimer or to favorite charity.
